Meet the Owner

Welcome to Steel Cabin Creations! I am Amanda, the girl covered from head to toes with glitter and paint.

I am a working mom of two crazy rambunctious kiddos. I have an amazing and supportive husband that encourages my work. However, he despises glitter, especially when it is found throughout our entire house.

Art has always had a soft spot in my heart and I have always had a talent within it, but for many years it got put on the back burner. For over a year, I watched and learned from other resin artists, learning the craft. I decided to jump into it with my first personal tumbler, not knowing how much I would enjoy it. From that moment on, I was addicted to all the glitters (even though I hated it before) and talk about tumblers way too much.

After resisting creating a business out of my artwork, I eventually caved and jumped headfirst, not realizing it was going to change my life drastically. A huge shout out for my best friend Val for coming up with the name Steel Cabin Creations, she knows my love for everything vintage style and she nailed it! I have learned from so many amazing creators, I have even inspired many with my own work, and my passion for teaching my techniques grew even more within the resin community.  Thanks to two amazing women in Florida that pushed me out of my comfort zone, aka my “glitter dealer”. This has pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of for an extreme introvert.

Find me live teaching within the Beach Girlz Glitter group. This is an amazing supportive group and I have become a frequent instructor for their craft party boxes. This is a great opportunity for beginning and advanced crafters to just have fun and learn new techniques. You may even find me live occasionally on TikTok, I need to get better with that. 

This is only the beginning of my story and I can't wait to see what comes next!
